| The "CallYa" card was the second PrePaid GSM
card in Germany. It is issued by Vodafone on the D2 GSM-net.
For many foreign visitors who expect many incoming calls it is better economy to buy a CallYa card, but not when you want to call your home countries, compare the price list below. The Start Package costs 55DEM. It contains a preactivated GSM SIM card with a 50DEM credit, codes and a users manual in German. There is are Phone Packages too, containing a phone and the above mentioned Start Package. The packages cost about 300DEM. There are three different methods of recharging the card. There are value coupons called D2-CallNow, Automatic charging from your bank account or paying over a Bank account. The valid period of the card is 12 months. Services included; We have tested the CallYa cards and they work well. We have found no grounds of complains but the costs. International calls are too expensive. We recommend prepaid calling cards instead. There is a variety of them. We can't really recommend the CallYa card due to the high costs. |
