For many foreign visitors who expect many incoming calls it is better economy to buy a Free&Easy card, but not when you want to call your home countries, compare the price list below. The Start Package costs around 100-150DEM but may vary much. It contains a preactivated GSM SIM card with a 50DEM credit, codes and a users manual in German.

There are Phone Packages too, containing a single or dual band and the above mentioned Start Package. The packages cost about 250DEM.

There are two different variants of the Free & Easy card, Original valid 1,5 years, and Weekend 1 year.

There are three different methods of recharging the card. There are value coupons called Free & Easy Cash, Credit cards or over a Bank account. 

International calls are possible, but not to all countries, and extremely expensive for european calls. Have a look further down.

We have tested the Free & Easy cards and they work well. We have found no grounds of complains but the costs. International calls are too expensive. We recommend prepaid calling cards instead. We can't really recommend the Free&Easy card due to the high costs.
