| The "Free & Easy" card is the third PrePaid
GSM card in Germany, but the first for GSM1800. It was introduced on the
market in March 1997.
For many foreign visitors who expect many incoming calls it is better economy to buy a Free&Easy card, but not when you want to call your home countries, compare the price list below. There are Phone Packages too, containing a single or dual band and the above mentioned Start Package. The packages cost about 250DEM. There are two different variants of the Free & Easy card, Original valid 1,5 years, and Weekend 1 year. There are three different methods of recharging the card. There are value coupons called Free & Easy Cash, Credit cards or over a Bank account. International calls are possible, but not to all countries, and extremely expensive for european calls.
