Comviq Millennium
PrePaid GSM SIM-card for GSM 900, GSM 1800 or GSM 900/1800 dual-band
The Millennium card is a variation of the Comviq Kontant that became the first PrePaid GSM SIM card in Sweden. This type of card has become vey popular in all GSM countries, so also in Sweden. 

Millennium has no minimum subscription period, no fixed monthly or other fees, other than a minimum recharge of 100SEK (22DEM) per year. You buy value coupons and recharge the card with them. The card is valid for 12 months after the first call or after the latest recharge. The Millennium start package contains only 100SEK to call for, compared to the 300SEK (68DEM) within Kontant. 
 

You activate the cards by; 
1. placing the card in a suitable phone,
2. scratching your value coupon to find the the hidden code,
3. calling 210 and enter the code (only Swedish language),
4. Ready to use.


Millennium can be used in foreign nets (roaming). International calls are possible.

1. VoiceMail "IQ-Svar",
2. CLI (Caller Line Identity) (Who is calling?),
3. Sending and receiving SMS
4. Sending email.
5. Frees 112 emergency calls (like almost all nets),
6. Access to Number Information (Who has got what number?).
7. Roaming possible.
8. A bonus of 0.25SEK/min when receiving calls.
9. 5.5% interest on remaining credit.

There is also a CONNECTION FEE of 0.40SEK/call.
Value coupons are available at 100SEK (11EUR), 250SEK (28EUR) or 500SEK (55EUR) (gives 550SEK(65EUR) in credit)
The Start Package costs 350SEK (39EUR) which includes a 100SEK(11EUR) value coupon. You will get an additional 50SEK(5.5EUR) when you register.


Now there are also Phone Packages available. These include a Start Package and a GSM mobile phone. The phones are SIM-locked to the Comviq net. The Phone Package includeds 50SEK (5.5EUR) of call credit. 

Comviq Millennium is the most economical card if this type in Sweden, if you have many calls to the fixed net or to the Comviq GSM net. From 7 Febr 2000 you get a "bonus" of 0.25SEK/min for receiving calls. This card is almost the same as Kontant and it is very thouroughly tested and we can recommend it.
